[Pattaya] Recommended accommodation areas and hotels are here!

Hello, this is Macchan.
Do you like Pattaya?

I have visited Thailand many times, and Pattaya is a must-visit every time.
I'm a little confused when I ask, "What's so great about it?" Maybe it's because it's a city packed with all the fun things to do in terms of food, leisure, and nightlife. There's also the sea nearby.

Don't you feel calm when you have the ocean in front of you? This time, we will introduce recommended accommodation areas and hotels in Pattaya, one of Thailand's leading beach resorts.
We hope you will find this helpful as a reference when staying in Pattaya.

Hotels are cheaper in Pattaya than in Bangkok.

In Japan, Tokyo is by far the most expensive city in terms of hotel costs and rent, and the same is true in Thailand.
Compared to the capital city of Bangkok, you
can stay at a hotel of the same grade at a much cheaper price in Pattaya.
Even in Bangkok, I think it's cheap from a Japanese perspective, but in Pattaya you can stay at a decent-quality resort hotel for around 5,000 yen. For 20,000 yen, you can stay in a high-grade hotel.

Recommended accommodation areas in Pattaya are around Beach Road Soi 2 to Soi 5.

Pattaya soi sign

My recommended accommodation area in central Pattaya is Beach Road Soi 2 to Soi 5.
I will explain the reason.
According to the map, this area is around Soi 2 to Soi 5 ↓ (The pin location is Soi 4, and the side street one level above it is Soi 3)

First of all, what is "soi"?
"Soi" means side street in Thai.
The main roads are called "thanon". Particularly in the center of Pattaya, a specific area is often referred to as "Soi○○" (number).

Far from the entertainment district, very quiet

Walking Street is, of course, Pattaya's biggest entertainment district.
At night, the area is filled with tourists, both on weekdays and holidays, and the festivities continue until dawn.
In addition to bars and go-go bars, Walking Street has discos and live music venues, so it's a good place to enjoy walking, but the nearby hotels are a bit noisy, so it's not suitable for people who are sensitive to noise. You may be worried about it and have trouble sleeping.
. Especially the deep bass of live house amplifiers (dumb dun dun lol)

Convenient for shopping

On the 2nd road side of Soi 2 and Soi 3 (the opposite side from the sea) is the large supermarket "Big C" that everyone is familiar with.

It's just a few minutes walk from Soi 2, Soi 3 and Soi 4. Large supermarkets are useful when you want to buy something but can't find it at a convenience store, or when you want to get ingredients and alcohol cheaply. It's quite fun just to look around. Recently, a shopping mall called "Central Marina" has been opened in front of "Big C".

You can now get everything you need without having to go all the way to Central Festival. There is a lot of development going on in this area. Every time I visit Pattaya, the scenery is new. Pattaya is becoming more and more new and beautiful, but I would like the current landscape of Pattaya to remain intact.

Click here for "Big C" and "Central Marina" (Big C is located at the back of Central Marina)

I love Big C central marina illustration Entrance to Central Marina. There is also a food court.

There is a street with very delicious food stalls.

Across Soi 4's 2nd Road, there is a street food stall that offers great food and great value for money.
It is across the parking lot from the famous okama show "Alcazar".
Please read this article if you have time, as we will introduce it in detail.

Here are the recommended hotels between Soi 2 and Soi 5!

Now, I will introduce recommended hotels in the recommended area Soi 2 to Soi 5.

Baan Khun Nine

An 8-story hotel located on Soi 2, completed in 2011.
There are few Japanese guests, and the rooms are quite spacious at 39 square meters. The price is about 7,000 yen in high season and 4,000 yen in low season.
The rating on the major hotel reservation site "Agoda.com" was 8.1 "Very Satisfied", which is quite high.

Pattaya Blue Sky Hotel: Added on 2018/08

This hotel is located on the 2nd Road side of Pattaya Soi 5. You can stay for around 3,500 yen per night in low season. I think this is the best-equipped hotel in the 3,000 yen range in terms of rooms and facilities. This is the hotel with the best cost performance in this area at the moment (2018/08). It's no surprise that the Agoda rating is 8.5, which is a very high score. Check on agoda.com Lobby

How about.
Did you find this helpful in choosing a hotel in Pattaya? You won't be able to fully enjoy sightseeing or nightlife if you don't have enough energy.
Get a good rest in an area away from the hustle and bustle and prepare for a fun-filled Pattaya life the next day.
